SafetyWorks! is an interactive safety education centre in Newcastle, providing realistic, hands-on safety training for schools, youth groups, and community organisations.
Through immersive, true-to-life scenarios, we teach young people how to stay safe, prevent accidents, and respond to emergencies in everyday situations.

Our safety programmes are tailored to different age groups and needs, ensuring that every visitor gains valuable life-saving skills relevant to their experiences.
A visit to SafetyWorks! is memorable and impactful, increasing the likelihood that visitors will retain crucial safety messages and apply them in real life.
School Visits
At SafetyWorks!, we offer school visits that align with the PSHE and Citizenship curriculum. Each session can accommodate up to 60 students from primary and secondary schools from the Tyne and Wear. Years 6 and 8 are welcome free of charge.
Other Visits
We welcome other groups from across Tyne and Wear, including youth groups, community organisations, and clubs, for bespoke workshops.
Whether you’re part of Scouts, Cubs, Brownies, cadets, or other youth programmes, we can customise an experience to suit your needs. Morning, afternoon, and early evening sessions are available.
Please be aware the centre is very busy, particularly during school term times. Bookings should be made as early as possible in advance of your chosen date, with regular visitors often booking up to a year in advance.
